| Verna Breeze 54' Lazarra Sloop
In between immerse yourselves in any activity you desire. Maybe have a morning swim or snorkel before breakfast. Possibly Kayak to the beach for a stroll or just sit back and relax in the cockpit and enjoy the splendor of the islands. After a delightful breakfast maybe it’s time for another swim or a hike on one of the many trails or to see the sights the island has to offer. Maybe time to sail on to another island. Once there, a little snorkeling or Scuba Diving may be in order. There is also the tan to consider. There is more than enough deck space to acquire the tan your friends expect to see.
Aft Deck is a Great place to stage watersports.
The Guest Cabin is forward
Guest Head is trimmed in Granite and has seperate shower area.
Verna Breeze's Crew
Chris Allison and Kelly Miller Chris & Kelly new they were meant for each other shortly after meeting 14 years ago and it did not take long to figure out they both wanted to cruise and enjoy the world on a sailboat. So a plan was made and a five year goal was put into action. So 8 years ago they bought Verna Breeze sold everything and started on their adventure. Now after 8 years of cruising the waters between the Chesapeake Bay and the Caribbean to Venezuela we would like to share our adventure with you. We would like to welcome you aboard our home and cruising boat to share the dream and enjoy all the islands have to offer. Whether it’s a relaxing week in the sun laying in hammocks with a few strolls on the beach or a fun filled week of play, diving, snorkeling, fishing, and looking for the best bar in the Caribbean. Come and experience what many of our friends and family have with a week of paradise aboard our lovely home. Captain Chris bought his first boat at 20 to learn to water ski and the love of the water has never died. Chris started his 1st business also at age 20 and has gone on to start and run many businesses including an electrical supply house in Atlanta, Ga. So excellent customer care and relationships are a way of life. Chris loves to hike and explore islands, water ski, snorkel, dive, fish, and spend lazy days on the beach under an umbrella. Chris is a Padi certified scuba diver and an avid free diver. Chris also loves to fish and anytime the Verna Breeze is moving you can usually find a line or two trolling off the stern. He loves to share his passion of the underwater world with others thru in the water activities and pictures. Chris holds a 100 ton Masters USCG license and is STCW 95 certified he is trained in marine fire fighting, safety, rescue and first aid. Chris also loves the history of rum making in the islands and has visited a majority of the distilleries in the eastern Caribbean. This passion also spills over into bartending and he loves coming up with new island drinks and would love to have you try the award winning Panty Dropper Punch, or maybe the new creation a Banana whacker. So let Chris share his passion for the islands with you as he has with many others and get ready for the best vacation you can imagine. Co Captain and Beat Mate Kelly also shares the love of the water and her dream to cruise the oceans and see the world aboard a sailboat started almost 20 years ago while walking the docks in St Vincent and happening upon a woman who owned a sailboat that she chartered. After a little bartering she and her friend were off for the adventure of a lifetime or in this case a week sailing the waters of St Vincent and the Grenadines. As they say the rest is history except for a little time in between. Before setting off on the current adventure Kelly had many passions. She became a Padi Dive instructor and taught for awhile in Fl. She then fell back into her passion for horses and became partners in a Hunter Jumper horse farm in Atlanta Ga. She spent 5 years running the business and showing her horse Tucker with many ribbons tucked in a trunk somewhere. Kelly holds a 100 tom Masters USCG captains license and is STCW 95 certified she is trained in marine fire fighting, safety, rescue and first aid. Kelly loves entertaining aboard Verna Breeze and enjoys cooking delightfully tasty meals. Sometimes it’s a surprise but it is always excellent. She also loves puzzles, games, kayaking, snorkeling, water Skiing, and quiet time reading a book in the cockpit or on a lovely beach. She would love to share the island sailing adventure she found walking down a dock in St Vincent. Who knows maybe she will see you anchored next to us in your own boat one day soon.
