Four cabins have twin beds, which may be converted easily into queen-size beds. Two have generous fixed twin beds.

All cabins are ensuite with marble bathrooms and separate shower. Far-away adventure does not mean isolation. You can stay in touch by telephone or Internet.

Fun is the operative word aboard Dione star. There is an endless variety of leisure time activities for your pleasure. And a world of out-of-the-way places for you to explore. Everyday cares miraculously disappear. Time is suspended.

The unique hydraulic transom door and swimming platform allows easy access for swimming and to board the yacht's tenders.

Dione Star is fully equipped for virtually all water sports. Sharpen you skills at water skiing, windsurfing, kayaking and scuba diving. Our experienced diving master is always on hand to guide you through breathtaking underwater sights.

Captain Brian Harrison, and Purser Judith Harrison

Brian and Judith have been successfully running charter yachts for 25 years, and that was after they had circumnavigated on their sailing yacht "FARAWAY." Since then, they have become a familiar couple at all the world's charter centers and have collected more than 250,000 ocean miles while chartering their previous boats "DIONE" and "THALASSI" to places as far apart as Antarctica and Greenland and twice more around the world.

They have chartered extensively in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, and are very familiar with the cruising grounds on both sides of the Atlantic. They spent most of 1999 chartering in the Pacific on the way to New Zealand for the Americas Cup racing. Then in 2002-3 via Antartica they repeated the Pacific and the Cup again before returning to the Mediterranean via Australia, the Red Sea, and Suez Canal.

Brian holds the MCA Commercial Class Four 'Shipmaster' license, is a marine engineer, an PADI dive-master, and a dedicated history buff.

Judith holds the UK MCA "Yacht Master Ocean" commercial license and is a keen amateur ornithologist specializing in sea birds. After more than 30 years world sailing, she is an excellent above- and below-water naturalist guide. Jude is a licensed watch keeper, firefighter, and marine medic.

Chef: Ali Scott British
Ali has sailed all her life and after working alongside some fabulous chefs in the yachting industry, she decided to train and take to the galley herself. Since completing the ABSEA cooking course five years ago, she has worked on a variety of luxury yachts, catering for people of all nationalities and preferences. Although trained in French cuisine, Ali has developed a rustic, fresh and healthy Mediterranean style, often contrasting with Asian flavors.

Engineer: Gary Bryan American
Before joining DIONE STAR's permanent crew, Gary served as relief engineer, delivery crew and refit manager since 2001. He knows the shipboard systems well, having installed many of them himself. When not aboard, Gary can be found in "out of the way places" on his own 40' sailing yacht 'Lysistrata' which he has sailed throughout the South Pacific, Indian Ocean, South China Sea and Africa. Gary holds a US Coast Guard Captain's License and has taught sailing in the Caribbean. Besides fiddling with machinery, he enjoys scuba diving and hiking.

Deckhand: Leslie Perreault American
Although she grew up near the ocean in San Diego, Leslie first learned to sail in the busy waters of New York Harbor. During the past five years she has sailed with DIONE STAR on four ocean crossings spanning Istanbul to New Zealand. With her husband, Gary, Leslie recently completed a sailing circumnavigation of Newfoundland and spent the past summer exploring the ports and coves of Nova Scotia. Now, six years into a one-year sabbatical, she enjoys traveling throughout the world to experience the people, food and music of other cultures. Leslie also enjoys hiking, scuba diving, reading and planning the next great adventure.

Chief Stewardess: Annette Riedel German
Annette is a lively spirited character who left her home country over 11 years ago to explore the world. During her travels, she discovered a love for boats and has managed to combine her passion for meeting new places and faces by working on sailing yachts, both in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. When she’s not on boats, she particularly enjoys exploring her surroundings, riding motor bikes, meeting old – and making new friends. Annette also loves to dance, read and eat fabulous food.

Stewardess: Bernadette Benoit Dominican
More than 10 years in the hotel industry. Lead singer with one of Antigua’s best jam bands for the past four years. Worked for the past two years as a welder at Antigua’s #1 engineering firm. Her interests are: Meeting new people, music, traveling, learning about new cultures and traditional foods, hiking and most of all, entertaining people.
