Named Cruising World’s Boat of the Year 2006, the St Francis 50 is fast, sleek, spacious and comfortable.

the “Sailing Capital of the Caribbean.”
Nutmeg’s luxurious interior offers four guest staterooms with easy access berths, AC, SAT TV’s and ensuite heads and showers. Help yourself to a refreshing tropical drink or local beer at Nutmeg’s corner bar. Relax in the spacious salon, shaded outside cockpit protected by a hard Bimini or sun on the front trampolines.

Alexander and Elinor Marr Alexander and Elinor Marr, Alexander "Sandy" MarrAfter school I studied agriculture and at the age of 23 I started a civil engineering contracting company which I ran successfully for 30yrs. before selling it. During this time I was a very keen sailor and completed at club, national and international levels. I was skipper for the National Sea Rescue Institute for 10 years and station commander of the Knysna rescue base for 3 years. I hold a Yacht Master Offshore license from the Royal Yachting Association, and I've logged more than 40 thousand sea miles. I've also qualified for a private pilots license and logged 250 hours, and I am a qualified dive master (NAUI) with 40 years experience. In 2000, I launched my 44ft. St. Francis Catamaran and sailed extensively around South Africa's east and west coast before leaving for Brazil and the West Indies. While in the BVI I worked for Tradewinds Cruise Club as a charter skipper doing week long cruises around the island chain. My wife and I then sailed on through the Bahamas to the U.S.A. where I sold my yacht. During 2005-2007 I was the skipper on the "Spirit Of Outwardbound", a 67ft. ex-BT Global Challenge yacht, running sailing courses to the Philippines, Japan,Taiwan and in Hong Kong local waters.
