English Rose or Rosie as some guests affectionately call her, is your yacht for the week. You select where you want to go, what time to leave, and what time to arrive. With seven years experience sailing these waters, James and Pamela have a wealth of local knowledge and advice available to you. You will receive all the comfort and services of a small intimate hotel.

All your meals, snacks, soft drinks, wine, beer, and liquor are included and the provisioning is made according to your preferences

The aft cockpit could be described as a huge patio: it’s a great place to enjoy your cocktails and meals while taking in the ever changing view, or relaxing and listening to your favourite music when at anchor or while under sail. It can comfortably accommodate 10 or more people, features an extendable 8-person dining table and has direct walk through access onto the 24-foot by 3 foot swim platform with BBQ and transom steps down to the swim ladder and fresh watershower for rinsing off after your swim.

She has three spacious private staterooms for guests, with queen sized double berths, en suite heads and showers. Each cabin also features a large overhead hatch and two portholes providing superb ventilation for when the air-conditioning is not in use. There is a 110v power point and a hairdryer in each cabin plus adjustable reading lamps, fans and full sized hanging lockers with enclosed shelves and plenty of storage. The crew have their own cabin.

James Gardner andPamela Young,

James is a Commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore with over 16,000 nautical miles under his belt. He has been sailing for over fifteen years in and around the Mediterranean, Britain and the Caribbean and has crossed the Atlantic twice in the renowned ARC race. He is also a keen racer and is a regular competitor in the Antigua, Tobago and Cowes race weeks.

An engineer by trade, James is never happier than when he is tinkering with an engine and is well know for being able to 'fix anything'. He is also very strict in the maintenance program he implements for his yacht.

Pamela has been sailing with James for the past three and a half years, and is a qualified dinghy sailor, although the British weather is not the best for this type of past-time so when the weather is more 'foul' than 'fair' Pam the 'gym junkie' comes into action; health and fitness are very high on her agenda.

Pam's keen interest in food and cooking was spurred by top nutritionist Dr. Gillian McKeith (of Britain's 'You are what you eat' television series and books). She has become a firm follower of Dr. Gillians philosophy of preparing healthy 'energy' foods while still being able to enjoy tasty and appealing meals with many of her recipes being picked up from her travels around the Mediterranean and Caribbean. Pam also has a family menu for when children are aboard.
